The Custom Route is designed for adventurous spirits who want to create their own ride experience.  Enjoy the flexibility of a self-paced, self-start option.  A perfect ride for those who prefer to explore on their own schedule rather than in a a group.

For example, heading south from Municipal Park, cyclists can enjoy a scenic 20-mile out-and-back ride (10 miles south, 10miles back) to Schoenchen, where they will be treated to a beautiful harp performance by Jane Hyde from 8:00-9:30 AM.

Looking for more mile? Continue on a southeast route for approximately 35 miles, including an 8-mile stretch east before returning to Hays.  In Walker, enjoy a performance by Hays Symphony flutists Mel Sauer and Hilary Shepard before completing your ride.

For an added musical highlight, start your day at 7:00 AM at Saint Joseph Church where Tom Meagher will fill the space with a stunning pipe organ performance before you head out on your journey.
